Terms of Service for the PIU Portal

1. Introduction

These Terms of Service govern the use of the PIU Portal, provided by Pioneer International University (PIU). By accessing or using the Portal, you agree to comply with these terms and conditions. If you do not agree with these terms, you must immediately cease using the Portal.

2. Eligibility

To access and use the PIU Portal, you must be a current student, faculty, or staff member of Pioneer International University (PIU). Additionally, prospective students who wish to apply or enquire about PIU are also eligible to use the portal for application and enquiry purposes.

3. Account Registration and Profile Information

  • Profile Accuracy: Users are required to provide accurate and up-to-date information during registration. It is your responsibility to ensure that your profile information remains correct and complete.
  • Account Security: You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials. You agree to notify PIU immediately if you suspect any unauthorized access to your account.

4. Use of the Portal

Permitted Use: The PIU Portal is provided to facilitate university-related services, including:

  • Semester Registration
  • Applying for Lost Documents (e.g., student ID, attendance forms, exam result slips)
  • Inquiries for Prospective Students (application and inquiries about PIU programs)
  • Access to Exam Result Slips
  • Access to Attendance Forms

Prohibited Use: You may not use the Portal for illegal activities, to transmit harmful content, or interfere with the normal operation of the Portal.

User Conduct: Users are expected to engage respectfully and professionally within the Portal. Any misuse, harassment, or inappropriate behavior may lead to the suspension or termination of access.

5. Access to Services

  • Current Students: Current students can access services such as semester registration, requesting lost documents, viewing exam result slips, and accessing attendance forms.
  • Prospective Students: Those interested in joining PIU can use the Portal to apply or make inquiries regarding admissions, available programs, and other related information.

6. Privacy and Data Protection

  • Data Collection: PIU collects personal information through the Portal to provide necessary services. This may include email addresses, academic records, attendance information, and other necessary data.
  • Confidentiality: PIU commits to safeguarding user information in accordance with applicable data protection laws and regulations.
  • Third-Party Services: The PIU Portal may link to third-party services, but PIU is not responsible for the privacy practices or content of external sites.
